The floor vibration control is very important not only to High-Tech manufacturing factory but also to other
buildings such as business, residence, shopping mall, hospital etc. This report reviews the existing widely
used human activity induced floor vibration assessment methods and discusses their limitation to apply
to semiconductor Fabs; and describes the further research to develop generic floor vibration assessment
method.
